Masque Vivant is an extraordinary rebalancing mask. A deep cleaning mask for all skin types. Helps to unclog congested skin, prevents pores from enlarging and in time will shrink pores. How often should I use Masque Vivant?
We recommend using Masque Vivant 2-3 times per week for best results. Many will use daily as part of their skincare routine. Apply over the entire face, neck and decollete, leave on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off with cool water or a damp cool washcloth. You can use as part of your AM or PM skincare routine. Best to avoid the senstive eye contour area and instead multi-mask with the Masque VIP O2 around the eye area.
Do I use Masque Vivant before or after Lotion P50?
You should apply your Masque Vivant after cleansing your face. Follow with your Lotion P50 Toner application. Next apply your Masque Vivant and leave on for 15-20 minutes.

Can I use Masque Vivant as an overnight masque?
You can use Masque Vivant as an overnight spot treatment for trouble spots and outbreaks. Apply directly to your trouble spot to a clean face and after toning. Rinse with cool water in the morning and then continue with your morning skincare routine.
What skin type is Masque Vivant best suited for?
Masque Vivant is recommended for seborrheic and/or acne-prone Skin Instants©. However, it is also suited for congested and devitalized skin. Suitable for sensitive skin as well.
Is Masque Vivant safe to use during pregnancy?
Yes it is. But we always recommend you speak with your doctor to discuss any unique conditions to avoid any issues. Many women's skin chnages drastcially during pregnancy due to hormones and other pregnancy related issues. As always if you experience any adverse reactions or irritation after use you should stop using the product immediately.
How do I apply and use Masque Vivant for best results?
Apply Masque Vivant on the entire face, neck and décolleté after cleansing and your Lotion P50 application. Avoid contact with eyes. Leave on for 15 minutes, moisten the mask and rinse the face at least twice with warm water. Follow with your preferred facial serums and face cream.
Option for seborrheic Skin Instants©: Mix a pinch of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and a few drops of Sérum Complexe Iribiol into Masque Vivant and apply a thin layer of the foaming mixture to the entire face, neck and décolleté. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with water.
Option for devitalized and sensitive Skin Instants©: Mix 5 or 6 drops of Fluide VIP O2 with Masque Vivant or mix 1/3 of Masque VIP O2 with 2/3 Masque Vivant. Apply the mixture to the entire face, neck, and décolleté. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with water.
What are the main active ingredients in Masque Vivant?
Yeast Extract: Yeast is made up of mineral salts, carbohydrates, lipids, and vitamins that give it many beneficial properties. Masque Vivant is very rich in vitamin B, which help preserve the skin’s integrity. It has a re-balancing effect (for oily or dry skin or scalp) and promotes the healing of certain skin conditions like acne and hyper-seborrhea.
Bentonite: Bentonite is a clay known for its highly absorbent properties. It carries a powerful negative charge which bonds to the positive charge in many toxins (chemicals or heavy metals) as well as to impurities. It can then absorb them and eliminate them. It also helps to supply cells with oxygen: by absorbing excess hydrogen, it lets the cells replace it with oxygen. Bentonite therefore boasts both detoxifying and purifying properties and is particularly suitable for cases of excess sebum.
Cider Vinegar: This extract is obtained from fermented apples which have been transformed into vinegar. It has high concentrations of fruit acids, which have a variety of actions: Acetic acid, a powerful exfoliant, helps purify skin. It is used in purifying and astringent treatments. Citric and malic acids promote the desquamation process and improve cellular renewal. Rich in polyphenol, cider vinegar has significant antioxidant activity: it protects skin from the harmful action of photo-induced free radicals
Complex based on Myrrh, Myrtle and Onion: Myrrh is the resin produced by the balsam tree native to North Africa, which belongs to the Burseraceae family. Myrtle is a shrub native to the Mediterranean Basin. Onion is native to the Middle East. This complex of active ingredients has soothing, purifying, antioxidant, and astringent properties.
Witch Hazel Extract: Witch Hazel is a small shrub whose extract is rich in tannins and flavonoids, which means it has many virtues. It is particularly effective in promoting microcirculation and improves the resistance of blood capillaries. This may help reduce visible redness. Soothing and anti-inflammatory, it calms and prevents skin irritation. Astringent and purifying, it tightens dilated pores on the face.
Cucumber Extract: Cucumber is an herbaceous plant native to India. It is rich in vitamins, trace elements and minerals, which means it has numerous properties suitable for all types of skin. Both softening and hydrating, it is suitable for very dry skin, and its calming effect even brings relief to slight burns and itching (pruritis). In addition, it refreshes and stimulates the complexion, restoring its radiance. Cucumber also has significant purifying properties that respect sensitive skin. As it is slightly astringent, it is also suitable for oily skins.
