What colors or shades do the new Serum Teinte come in?
There are 5 Cool Colors with pink undertones. They are 1C, 2C, 3C, 4C and 5C. There are also 5 Warm Colors with golden undertones. They are 1W, 2W, 3W, 4W and 5W.

Why is there a new name for the Biologique Recherche Serum de Teint ?
Biologique Recherche chose to change the name to reflect the fact that this is a new generation of tinted skincare. Marking this difference shows that this is not a simple reformulation but a complete reworking of the line.
What are the differences between the previous Sérum de Teint and the new Sérum Teinté ?
Biologique Recherche started from the base of the current Sérum de Teint, but have made several improvements. They reworked the formula to improve the hydration, which may have been insufficient for very dry skin on the previous version. They also reworked the texture by improving the glide in order to solve linting problem. Some of the active ingredients have been modified, but the claims and product positioning remain the same. Last but not least, 10 new shades have been created, with a focus on undertones to suit a wider range of skin tones.
Is the Sérum Teinté suitable for all Skin Instants© ? Is it safe to use Sérum Teinté on acne-prone skin ?
Sérums Teintés are suitable for all Skin Instants©. The efficacy tests were carried out on dry skin to guarantee good hydration but also on seborrheic and acne-prone skin to verify its good tolerance under dermatological control. Biologique Recherche can guarantee that the product is non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic. Moreover, volunteers with acne saw a reduction in the appearance of pores and imperfections.
Is the Sérum Teinté suitable for pregnant women? Is Serum Teinte pregnancy safe?
There are no contraindications to the use of Sérum Teinté for pregnant or breast-feeding women. Biologique Recherche take great care with our formulas and the ingredients we use and carry out tests in independent centers to guarantee its safety. The new Serum de Teintes are pregnancy safe.
What are the active ingredients and skincare benefits of Sérum Teinté ?
Sérums Teintés are enriched in protective, moisturizing, unifying and radiance boosting active ingredients. The photo-protecting and anti-pollution active ingredients help create a “shield” on the skin’s surface against urban particulate pollutants and free radicals induced by solar radiation. They prevent the penetration of pollutants into the skin. Their moisturizing active ingredients provide a long-lasting hydrating action. Even after 8 hours of application, the skin's hydration level is boosted. Thus, the epidermis feels comfortable all day long, without any sensations of tightness. With repeated use, skin health and appearance are improved, including luminosity, even skin tone and texture of the skin.
What pigments are used in Sérums Teinté ?
Each product has a precise combination of pigments to create the ideal color for a range of skin tones. There are 10 colors in total so you can choose the right product based on the season and changes to your skin tone. Biologique Recherche uses 4 different pigment colors: white, yellow, red and black. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is an essential white pigment as it is capable of lightening a color. It is also what provides tinted preparations with their opacity and coverage. It is extracted from two minerals: ilmenite (iron-titanium oxide) and rutile. Iron oxides are the pigments most commonly used in colored emulsions. They are obtained by precipitation from the oxidized mineral, followed by sieving, filtration, drying and then milling. The desired color will be obtained from 3 main oxides in various proportions to produce several shades: o Red or ferric oxide (Fe2O3) o Yellow or hydrated ferric oxide (Fe2O3, xH2O) o Black or ferroferric oxide (Fe3O4)
Do Sérum Teinté contain silicone ?
No, like all Biologique Recherche products, we never use silicone in our products. The Sérums Teintés are fragrance and silicone free.
