Vernix formation coincides with the start of epidermal differentiation and skin barrier formation. Vernix caseosa is made up of water, lipids and proteins. Its physical and biological properties are remarkable. Biologique Recherche was able to biocopy this complex by almost identically reproducing, in its formulation, the original composition of vernix to combat cutaneous dryness and regenerate the epidermis.

The new formula has a light new scent and an imporved texture that is less tacky, smoother and more delicate that is closer to the texture to human vernix.
The new advanced formula delivers boosted efficiency with +115% ceramides to strenghten and reapir damaged skin, +25% filagrinn proteins to restore hydration and imporve TEWL.
The new formual boast imporved elasticyt of +4%, + 22% improved viscoelasticity and +19% in skin's suppleness.
The new formula is also vegan VG with a unique combination of new biotechnological active ingredients and botanical extracts which is closer to the composition of human vernix. The former ingredients are no longer available and have been discontinued.

How do I use the new Creme Masque Vernix VG?
You can use the new Biologique Recherche Creme Masque Vernix VG as a day/night cream or as a face masque.
As a cream: Apply in the morning and/or evening onto cleansed skin. Delicately massage the face, neck
and décolleté until complete penetration.
As a mask: After cleansing, apply a thin layer onto the face, neck and décolleté.
Leave for 15 to 20 minutes. For even more intensive results you can use as an overnight masque and rinse of in the morning. Delicately remove any excess with a damp cotton pad.
