From start to finish the team at Paul Labrecque did a fantastic
job for my wedding.
I have been a customer of Roberto for the past three years –
after randomly going to the salon for an up-do for an event. I had
never been happy with an up-do in my life until that point, but he
did a beautiful job and he's been my stylist and colorist ever
since. Roberto is not just a great stylist, but he is also a warm
and caring person who will make you feel comfortable and beautiful
on your wedding day. Already knowing Roberto, I knew my high
expectations would be met -- but what was great is that this level
of warmth and professionalism was carried through by everyone at the
salon.
Jessica is always on top of things, I never had to call her twice to make sure that she had set up a trial or gotten the bridesmaids' headcount right. As a busy bride, it was such a relief to deal with someone who is both organized and efficient but also a good person who genuinely wants to make you happy.
Taymor did a fabulous job on the painstaking (but so WORTH it)
eyelash extensions. The rest of the team that came with Roberto
for the wedding was also amazing. The "moms" and the "girls" all
looked beautiful and we had a really fun afternoon getting ready.
I cannot say enough good things about Paul Labrecque and would
highly recommend them for a wedding or any special event!

Jessica,
I wanted to write to let you know what a great
experience my family, friends, and I had at your salon on my wedding
day. From the organizing and booking with you – to our on-time
departure, everything was just perfect!
From the moment we arrived at the salon, I felt
that everything was taken care of – and I knew I had NOTHING to
worry about. That is something that is priceless – especially on
your wedding day! You made my friends and family (all 12 of them)
feel so welcome and so special as they each got their hair done.
Needless to say, everyone was THRILLED with the outcome and it was
one of the highlights of our entire day. I wanted some great “girl
time” during a day that can be overwhelming and stressful, and I got
it (thanks to you and your team).
Thank you again for everything – and I will
recommend you and your salon for all of my friends getting married!

Dear Jessica—
I cannot thank you enough for all of your help
getting me ready for my wedding this August. You were my “Bridal
Hair Wedding planner” for the six some-odd months that we worked
together! Anytime I had a question, concern, mini-freak-out about
whether or not to wear my hair down, you were always there to give
me the best advice and really set my worries to rest. You always
took a little extra time to make me feel so special. After our
second phone conversation I was ready to invite you out for dinner
and introduce you to my fiancé! Working with you was so easy, but
most importantly—it was fun!
I was never more confident in any of my vendor
decisions than I was after meeting you and, the hair-stylist God
that he is, Roberto at the salon for my hair trial. Which brings me
to another point—the best thing that Paul Labrecque Salon ever did
was to hire Roberto. He is a genius. My sister and I can be a bit
crazy at times, and he totally joined us in our craziness at the
hair trial. We were taking pictures, striking poses and really
enjoying the entire experience. When the first hair creation seemed
a little too “perfect” for me, Roberto came up with an alternative
right away that ended up being exactly what I was looking for.
On the day of the wedding, he was so
professional—and still, a giant ball of energy. We definitely got
in some good laughs, and he really made the afternoon enjoyable for
my sisters and I. And, to top it all off, he wasn’t at all bitter
about the long drive he had to take out of the City! Two hours in a
car going who-knows-where, and you know that I would be a little
cranky. When Roberto got to the house, he was nothing but excited
and enthusiastic. He sat me in my chair and immediately began
working his magic. And what an artist he is—my hair has never
looked that beautiful before!
I really cannot say enough about you, Roberto
and the Paul Labrecque Salon that will do everything justice. You
are all an amazing group of people, and you really take care of your
brides (which, as a former employee of the Manhattan wedding scene,
I can tell you is a rarity to find in salons). I’m excited to bring
all of my friends back to the salon and encourage them to use you
for their big days (even for bachelorette parties and bridal
showers—what an amazing space you have there!) I wish you the very
best of luck, and I look forward to keeping in touch and hearing how
successful you are! If you ever need a reference, you know who to
call.

I am a very detailed oriented person.
When I got
engaged I started my research and created an extensive library of
everything bridal. I saw tons of locations, over twenty florists,
and what feels like a hundred dress boutiques. Perfection was the
goal, especially since the guests all knew I work in the fashion
industry and would have high expectations. It was all falling into
place except for what I thought would be easiest…the hair. I went
from place to place with no luck. Sure I came away from each trial
with beautiful hair but I didn’t look like me…I looked like a
typical bride. I wanted someone who could understand my sense of
style. I wanted to look beautiful but still unique and modern. I was
complaining to my colorist Pepper when she happily informed me that
she does bridal hair. I was ecstatic! We had a trial and I was sure
she was the one. She even did my hair for my rehearsal dinner. I
have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I got so
many compliments and women kept asking me for pictures of my hair to
show to their own stylists. The experience was wonderful and not
just because of Pepper. The manger at Paul Labrecque, Jessica
Steinman, was also so attentive and helpful. She even gave me Airborne the
day before so I wouldn’t catch my fiancé’s cold! Pepper and team are
truly the best in New York City. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dear Jessica,
I would like to express my deepest appreciation
to you and the staff at Paul Labrecque. Everything from your prompt
and flexible coordination, all the way through to the services
provided before and on our wedding day was superb! Your on-site
services for my entire wedding party, made our day relaxing and
enjoyable.

was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. I had such a
great time with Stevan while he did a beautiful make-up job. Make-up
is definitely our friend!
Twelve hours and much dancing later, my hair and
make-up still looked camera ready. I felt like a princess and looked
exactly the way I wanted to on the most special day of my life, and I
