Initial consultation is required to discuss your order with a follow up appointment scheduled to attach, style, cut and color your custom made piece. You will also be trained to properly take out your piece, clean and re-attach when desired. Each piece can be used for years if properly cared for.

It is only necessary to wash, condition and style as you would with your own hair. Picking shampoos, conditioners and styling products is easy and dependent on how you wear your hair. The Paul Labrecque Luxury Hair Care collection is the perfect choice to keep you hair piece looking healthy with quality products for every hair type; Daily, Color, Straight, Curly, Volume and Repair.

Paul Labrecque offers an ongoing styling service for hair pieces at the same cost of our in salon wash and blow out service. Hair must be dropped off at the salon and will be returned for pick up the next business day.

As your piece is not naturally attached to your head the hair piece will not benefit from the natural oils which flow from the scalp to the hair. In order to replenish these oils and keep the hair looking shiny without appearing oily and flat use Paul Labrecque Curly Finish High Gloss Spray Shine or Color Finish Polish & Seal Droplets.

To wash and condition use Paul Labrecque shampoos and conditions for your specific hair type. If styling your hair curly use Curly Style Curl Defining Gel or if you choose to blow dry it straight use Paul Labrecque Straight Style Anti-Frizz Smoothing Gel.

Paul Labrecque 100% Boar Bristle Hair Brushes are perfectly suited to care and prolong the life of your hair piece. A boar bristle brush will not tear or pull on the hair piece as a plastic or synthetic brush will do and will be easier to work with if you are using a blow dryer on your hair piece.

Paul Labrecque “Ready to Wear” Hair Pieces are all custom made from 100% human hair to fit your head shape and size. For temporary wear each piece is attached with a very fine mesh cap and a mystery clip that is comfortable, lightweight and undetectable to the eye. This clip sits under the hair piece and easily snaps onto your hair. The clip is very small and creates no bulk and easily snaps open for removal. Once attached the hair can be cut and styled to blend with your own hair. Prior to attachment and before your hair is made it will be color matched for a seamless natural look. 

For a more permanent and extended wear up to one month hair pieces can be attached with a process called Micro-Line Integration. This innovative new process consists of an invisible nylon thread that is attached to the perimeter of the hair piece allowing us to weave your own hair into this line. Heat is then used to attach the additional hair. This process is similar to how we would directly attach hair extensions and lasts up to one month.

All Paul Labrecque “Ready to Wear” hair pieces are made from the finest quality 100% European human hair. The hair looks and feels amazingly natural as it is virgin and has never been chemically processed. We then select a grouping of colors that is custom blended to your own hair. Human hair is very strong and durable and can endure everything that ones natural hair can. Most hair is naturally wavy when dried. Unlike synthetic hair, human hair can be colored, permed, curled or flat ironed. If cared for properly your piece will last for years.
